forest; young leaves grayish "brown, old leaves
grayish brown below, dull green above; fruits
solitary or 2-3 together; cupules up to c. 5 cm
diameter, gray-green, with an abraded appearance.
Dried fruits separate.
Eastern Highlands District: Kassam , alt. 1370 m.
