Herbarium of the University of Florida Gainesville. Florida 32611 U.S.A. PLANTS OF FLORIDA Verbena bonariensis L. ALACHUA COUNTY: S of Gainesville. Levy Grant Lot 9, SE 1/4. Ca 80 m N of Stone crossroads sign, beside Visitor Center blacktop road. Mesic-scrubby flatwoods, close to baygall. With Pinus taeda, Liquidambar styraciflua, Rhus copallina, Myrica cerifera. Coarse herb, ca 2.5 m tall. Flowers purple; corolla tube 1.5 mm long; corolla lobes 1 mm long. Soil sandy-black. Coll. Caroline Easley #661 20 July 1987 Det. C.
