Harvard University, Gray Herbarium (GH) PLANTS OF OREGON Lilium columbianum Hanson LILIACEAE Herbs 6-15in tall, occasional, flowers orange. Growing in an open meadow with scattered, compact trees, on a moderate NE-facing slope in loamy soil (Mulkey medial loam, 3-30% slopes; medial, ferrihydritic Pachic Fulvicryands). Growing with Abies procera, Achillea millefolium, Carex californica, Cerastium arvense, Danthonia californica, Lupinus albicaulis, Luzula comosa, Melica subulata, Pseudotsuga menziesii (rare), Pteridium aquilinum, ^ Rumex acetosella, Senecio triangularis subsp. triangularis, Smilacina stellata, Viola adunca & Viola glabella. To the N. side of Marys Peak, a few hundred feet N. of the crest. Siuslaw National Forest, Benton Co. Elev. about 4040ft. 44° 30' 18.5”N, 123° 33' 09.3”W. UTM 10 456074E, 4928127N. (NAD83/WGS84).
