W of Santa Cruz-Wames highway and just E of the new
urbanización.
17°37’55”S, 63°09’50”W. alt. 370 m.
Sandy savanna with very slight topography, not now grazed
but undoubtedly has been in the past, very likely never
plowed. With Isostigma hoffmannii, Hybanthus calceolaria.
Viny herb, trailing through grasses. Inflorescence erect, the
flowers spreading, the fruit deflexed. Petals dull dark red.
