It is jiff! east of Iron City Avenue and just south of 170th Street. A disturbed mesic prairie occurs east of a wet prairie in a drainageway. Pike Run Wildlife Area is on the Mississippi Alluvial Plain. 40+ ramets, most of which are vegetative, occur in the mesic prairie. The vegetation is very dense and about 0.6 meter tall. Ophioqlossum pusillum is associated with Anemone canadensis. Calamaorostis canadensis. Chamaecrista fasciculata. Fraoaria virainiana. Platanthera flava. Penstemon digitalis. Poa pratensis.
