Scrub forest on East side of Partang River. 0.34 miles East of Partang River base camp. Elevation: 559 m. 5°4r32.7"N 60°16'32.4"W. Scrub forest. White sand and sandstone. Shrub, 25 m tall. Flowers pink, caylx green. Fruit a capsule. Surrounding area was burnt within the past month. Silica sample. K.M. Redden 1218 21 November 2002 With: C. Perry & E.
