center of La Belgica, along one of the dirt roads west of La
B&gica.
17°33’27”S, 63°18’17”W. alt. 355 m.
Wide, shallow valley with sandy soil through grassland and
savanna. Near non-flowing stream after rain on Monday,
many Cyperaceae, Andropogon.
Prostrate, but at least the distal stems not rooting. Flowers
held on erect pedicels; petals bright yellow. In sandy
grassland above the damp area.
