Along intermittent stream; at base of steep, north-
facing slope; pine-hardwood canopy. Site #71 (Lat.
34°10’15"; Long. 82°44'11"), ca. 0.5 mile due north
of junction of unpaved County Roads 252 and 254; ca.
0.5 mile west of the Savannah River. Below the
475-ft. contour (full pool for proposed Russell Lake),
Area to be impounded in the mid-1980ls.
