The New York Botanical Garden Plants of U.S.A. Phrymaceae [=Verbenaceae?] Phrvma leotostachva L. det. M. Nee, 1993 Wisconsin, Richland Co., 3 miles SE of Richland Center. T 10 N; R 1 E; SE^SWi Sect. 25. Erect herb; stem prominently swollen above the node (this collapses during drying), in the same manner as is characteristic of the Acanthaceae. Flowers pink and white.
