near Camp 3, ca. 22 air km east of Tulameng summit (summit 1534m, N
5°33'27.1", W 60°59'34.7"). 521 m. 5°34’25.1"N 60°47'47.3"W.
Brocchina and Stegolepis savanna with drier shrub islands around rock
outcrops. Shrub to 1.5m. Leaves ascending. Branchlets burgundy. Calyx
burgundy. Fruit axillary, fasciculate, burgundy-green, one-seeded
Adjacent to savanna collected on July 1, but separated by a creek and
scrub buffer. Silica sample.
