    Sandy soil with sagebrush, shadescale and rabbitbrush. Locally common.

  • Description

    Stems clustered on a taproot; herbage glaucous; corolla pale blue to pale lavander, often with violet lines on palate, the lobes spreading; staminode more or less grooved with 2 rows of orange hairs on ridges, recurved at tip; anthers often dark purple on back. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
