Unshaded lawn and sandy shore of Kickapoo River, with
Rorippa sylvestris, Phyla lanceolata, Eragrostis hypnoides,
Chaiturus marrubiastrum, Lindernia dubia, Mimulus
ringens, Eragrostus minor, E. pectinacea.
Herb, rooting on stems. Corolla first white with yellow eye,
later light violet with darker violet eye.
