PLANTS OF CALIFORNIA DISTRIBUTED EY THE HERBARIUM OF THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, BERKELEY. 249. Fritillaria liliacea Lindl. Oakland Hills, Alameda County, at an altitude of 100 m. On grassy ridges overlooking Lake Chabot, in clayey stony soil; plants somewhat scattered. Flowers white, the segments green at base and with a more or less distinct green medial line. Many of the plants are staminate the pistils much reduced or nearly wanting; staminate and perfect flowers growing promiscuously over the slopes. Collected by Miss H. A.
