PLANTS OF THE GUIANAS Tococa erythrophylla (Ule) Wurdack Det. T. Hollowell, 1998 GUYANA. Region: Potaro-Siparuni. Pakaraima Mts-Mt. Wokomung, summit ridge of Ka-mie-wah pinnacle NE to S pinnacle, "Little Ayanganna". 05°04'N, 59°52'W. Elev. 1550 to 1650 m. Mixed hardwood cloud forest grading to Guayanan scrub forest on pinnacular escarpments; on sandstone. Shrub 1.5-2 m; lvs coriaceous, with maroon petioles & margins; peduncles maroon; ovaries pinkish green, corolla white to pink. Fruit immature. Henkel, T.W. 4427 17 November 1993 With: R. Williams, S.
