Parks & Hardin Gadsden County: Rich mesic hardwood-pine ravine/slope forest, in unnamed ravine draining west to Apalachicola River, ca. 0.5 air mi S of US 90, in west-central part of Chattahoochee; Chattahoochee Nature Preserve, SWQ, NWQ, SWQ, Sec. 33, T4N, R6W; Chattahoochee 7.5’ Quad.; 30°41'50"N, 84o51'01"W. Elev. 80-140 ft. Black clayey soil with limestone near surface. Soils - Cuthbert, Boswell, and Susquehanna (Hapludults). This specimen is subsp. umbilicatum. Steve L. Orzell and Edwin L.
