Production Unit. S and SW of camp. 11°47,08"S 72°4r57"W. Primary, moist, lowland,
non-flooded forest dominated by bamboo (Guadua). On steep bank above stream in wet
seepage area.
Shrub 1.5 m tall; inflorescence ascending, axis red; young fruit red. Specimens preserved
in 55% ethanol before drying.
