Flora of the Paumonek Wetland, Long Island Erythronium americanum Kerr. NEW YORK, SUFFOLK CO.: Huntington Station, in the Paumonek Wetland, west of Walt Whitman High School. Extremely large, dense patch carpeting the Woods floor. Flowers warm golden-yellow with dark speckles inside near the gynoecium. Leaves lightly mottled with dark splotches. Anthers deep orange.
