Vine. Stem pubescence reddish-brown. Lvs deep green above,
nitid; paler below with reddish-brown pubesc on veins.
Outer perianth segments pale green outside, with a
brownish scurf, greenish white inside; inner segments
greenish-white; corona white* Filaments, style branches
and stigmas green. Anthers pale cream; pollen yellow.
Tambo Consuelo to Tambo Cerro Negro 8000-9600 ft. elev.
PROV. SANTIAGO-ZAMORA (“ORIENTE”): Eastern slope of the cordil-
lera, valley of the ríos Negro and Chupianza (on the trail from Sevilla de
Oro to Mendez).
