    Disturbed subtropical semi-deciduous forest and brushy or open areas along the very shallow, intermittent "river". Anadenanthera macrocarpa, Crotalaria anagyroides, Solanum riparium. Soil sandy.

    Small tree, 8 m. tall, 25 cm. in diameter, with open spreading crown. A few violet flowers; fruit erect, green. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Fruit.
