upper reach of Sam's Spring Canyon, Deep Springs Valley
drainage, T7S R35E S10. Dry alluvial bench sloping 10°
SW, Pinyon-Juniper woodland with Equisetum, Gutierrezia,
Brickellia, Pinus, Juniperus and Populus. Rare in the
range on alluvial benches above streams.
