with main highway from San Ramón to Los Troncos.
17°00’19”S, 62°37’05”W. alt. 250 m.
Sparse vegetation of roadside and fencerow, surrounded by
completely cleared crop fields or pastures partially cleared
from dry forest (almost chaco forest). Rains are late this
year and plants are very stressed, especially the ditch with
Polygonum hispidum, Eurolepis hecatanthum, Baccharis
(no. 58911).
Treelet 2 m. tall, one seen blooming here when only 0.5 m.
tall. A native tree of the dry forest, and larger individuals
seen here. Petals bright yellow.
