Limestone cliffs above stream with mixed hardwood (Acer saccharum, Carpinus, Carya, Cercis, Fagus, Fraxinus, Gleditsia, Liriodendron, Ostrya, Quercus alba, Sassafras)- Juniperus forest and understory of Hamamelis and Hydrangea. corticolous on Acer saccharum.
