soils mapped as shallow, well drained, calcareous,
moderately alkaline silty clay (Doss Series, Typic
Calciustolls), on nearly level upland underlain by Glen Rose
Limestone, along S side of road on N fenceline of Davidson
property, ca. 0.3 airmiles N of gate, ca. 1.7 airmiles NW of
jet. R. M. 473 and R. M. 3160 in Kendalia, at N29°59’00.2”
W098°32’39.2”. Elev. 1400 ft.
Associates included Berberis trifoliolata, Carex planostachys, Celtis
laevigata, Chaerophyllum tainturieri, Dichanthelium oligosanthes,
Diospyros texana, Forestiera pubescens, Juniperus ashei, Matelea
reticulata, Nassella leucotricha, Parietaria pensylvanica, Quercus
fusiformis, Smilax bona-nox, Ulmus crassifolia.
