R. M. 473 and R. M. 3160 in Kendalia, at N29°59’00.2” W098°32’39.2”. Elev. 1400 ft. Associates included Berberis trifoliolata, Carex planostachys, Celtis laevigata, Chaerophyllum tainturieri, Dichanthelium oligosanthes, Diospyros texana, Forestiera pubescens, Juniperus ashei, Matelea reticulata, Nassella leucotricha, Parietaria pensylvanica, Quercus fusiformis, Smilax bona-nox, Ulmus crassifolia.
