Disturbed maple-oak forest on moderate to steep, rocky, E-facing
slopes and weedy, successional, hackberry-boxelder-silver maple
floodplain forest along W side of North Sugar Creek. Frequent
limestone outcrops at top of slope.
Locally common on slope. Flowers light yellow.
