Habitat
Mixed hardwood (Acer saccharum, Betula lenta, Fagus, Ilex opaca, Liriodendron, Magnolia macrophylla, Nyssa, Quercus prinus)- hemlock (Tsuga) forest with some mature trees and massive sandstone cliffs and overhangs. corticolous on Fagus.
