Mesic north-facing slope and adjacent, somewhat disturbed ridgeline
on reddish clay soil developed over conglomerate rock.
Open chaparral of Adenostoma fasciculatum, Ceanothus cuneatus,
Ericameria linearifolia, Salvia mellifera, and Eriogonum
fasciculatum.
Perennial herb, flowers yellow. Locally common with
Dodecatheon clevelandii in mesic openings. Plants with distinct,
cilantro-like odor.
