United States of America. California. Mono Co. Glass Mountain Region: Wet Fork of Black Canyon drainage. Appx. 1 mile due east of Sawmill Meadow. (Glass Mountain quad).

Habitat
Heavily grazed wet drainage from perennial springs south. Streamcut shallow canyons running S-N, below granitic outcrops. Upland scrub vegetation of Artemisia tridentata, Purshia tridentata, Symphoricarpos rotundifolius, Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus, Ribes cereum, R. velutinum, and scattered Pinus contorta, P. flexilis, Juniperus. Riparian zone with Sphenosciadium capitellatum, Achillea millefolium, Aquilegia formosa, Senecio triangularis, Taraxicum, Allium. Scattered streamside. Silty decomposed granite soil.
