FLORA OF THE U.S.A. Sj2^'U,^ (L ) ^'^* $~Wp- WEST VIRGINIA, Pocahontas County. MARLINTON, by west end of main bridge; river bank; 38°13’N, 80°06' W. Climbing on shrubs to 1.5 m; corolla pale pink. R.K. Brummitt 20748 2 July 2002 20748. Calystegia sepium subsp. americana (Sims) Brummitt. This collection seems quite typical of this subspecies, which is normally found close to the Atlantic coasts (S as far a Chesapeake Bay) or the St Lawrence and Great Lakes. I was surprised to find such a plant so far south and inland. R.K.B. EX HERB. HORT. BOT. REG. KEW. THIS MATERIAL IS RESTRICTED.
