Tunk Stream terminus, N outflow of Tunk Lake, N side
ME Rt. 182, ca. 5.5 mi W of Unionville Road, 6.5 mi W
of Cherryfield. Elev. 210 ft. Acid peat, (muck) sand,
gravel and boulders; glacial till; in pool of stream 0.1-1
m deep, before entry into pond.
Beaver-impounded pond, marsh formed by stream, with
Eriocaulon. Very local perennial herb, inconspicuous;
leaves brittle, often recurved.
