Northwest aspect. Narrow riparian fringe dominated by juniper and willows; common with Juniperus scopulorum, Salix lutea, Rosa woodsii, Prunus virginiana, Clematis ligusticifolia, and scattered groves of Populus trichocarpa. Common. Gravelly volcanic derived soils.
