Montane cloud forest. Quercus seemannii & Q. copeyensis. Gregarious. On soil.

Description
Pileus up to 5 cm broad, convex, glabrous and viscid, white with a hint of pale ochraceous on disc, with ochraceous buff, detersile, flattened to pyramidal volval remnants, with non-striate margin. Flesh white, up to 8 mm thick, changing to pale pinkish when exposed, with pungent unpleasant odor of Lepidellas, not tasted. Lamellae free, crowded, white. Stipe up to 15 cm long, up to 1 cm broad, equal with a bulbous base (3-4 cm broad), marginate when young, fibrillose above, somewhat flocculose below, developing orange brown stains with handling; interior solid, white, changing to pinkish when exposed. Annulus quite fragile, collapsing. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
