17°46’43”S, 62°59’03”W. alt. 352 m.
Disturbed chaco woodland between fields and pastures,
along an incised, now dry creek bed. With Anadenanthera
macrocarpa, Capparis coimbrana (no sign of flower or fruit
now), Gallesia integrifolia, Reichenbachia hirsuta (no sign
of flowers or fruits).
Tree 8 m. tall, 20 cm. in diameter, seems to have a weak,
almost scrambling trunk, or perhaps the tree had been
knocked over when younger? Inflorescences held erect.
Flowers with very light, pleasant fragrance (11:55 A.M.,
bright overcast after rain yesterday), dull pale yellow.
