W bank at Surwakwima Falls. W. of Base Camp 6. Elevation: 472 m. 6°4'52.7"N 60°40'18.2"W. Gallery forest on riverbank with Sphagnum and Cyperaceae in wet, seepy areas. Erect herb growing on river bank. Infl. axillary and terminal. Sepals green with branched, red trichomes; petals white; stamens yellow with purple anthers. Fruit a capsule. K.M.
