calyx green, often turning purple on one side, spiny;
corolla and filaments white; anthers yellow; style
white; old petals and stamens turning pink; fruit green
turning reddish.
At 250 m. along the Capirona Trail.
Explorer's Inn, near the confluence of Rio Tambopata and
Rio La Torre, 39 km. SW. of Puerto Maldonado, 12° 50' S.
and 69° 20' W.
