(undetermined) "Club moss" (LYCOPODIACEAE) U.S.A., New York, Suffolk County, Middle Island, Cathedral Pines County Park, in dense Quercus forest, some Juniperus virgiana and Pinus rigida in area, elevation ca. 50-100 ft. above sea level, in hills, in central part of park, forming dense rounded mounds (like Microbiota Kom.). Coll: John Silba B-136 1st September 2000 Notes: A most unusual attractive plant, ca. 4-6 inches tall, forming dense light-green mounds, leaves acute.
