If this be the same plant that is known about Charles-
ton as the "Hugenot" fern, it is an interesting coincidence
that it grows here in the Hugenot cemetery but not in the
Boman Catholic one just around the corner. Both the resur~(
rection fern and the 'V^nis-hair are common in both places but
this one seems to be a confirmed Protestant*
I note in your BFerns of Florida” that Botrychium
obliquum has not been collected in Florida in recent years.
T’nis fern grows, rather sparingly, in two hammocks on some
land of ours here in this county. For the past two years I
have been searching for a specimen with a fertile frond but
I have had no success, doubtless because I do not get down
here early enough in the Fall.' I will make an effort to
get at the search a bit earlier next season and if I am suc-
cessful 1*11 be glad to send you a specimen should you care
for it.
