ALPINE CLIFFBRAKE. Rhizomatous perennials in dense
masses, fronds easily detached near base.
0.8 mile N 32° E of Eva Belle Mine in upper Cottonwood
Creek basin, Fishlake Valley drainage, T4S R34E S35.
Sheltered sandy granite crevice facing 70° NE, subalpine
sagebrush scrub with Chrysothamnus, Holodiscus, Galium,
Linanthastrum and Artemisia. Infrequent and sporadic in
subalpine granite.
