T31S, R19W, Sec. 21. Lat.: 3V35'45"N Long.: 108°46,15,,W (WGS84 Datum). Elev. 6225 ft. In rocky (rhyolite) soil on E-facing slope with Quercus. Garrva. Rhus & Yucca. Perennials from compact rhizomes with linear- subulate, strictly concolorous scales; rachises dark brown throughout, + lustrous, terete, with abundant, short, curly, appressed hairs adaxially; ultimate segments sparsely villous along midvein abaxially; spores averaging 60 microns long.
