Fee Mounded plant to 2 feet high and 4 feet across; foliage bluish-green; stems to 2.5 feet long. Ventura County: San Nicolas Island: NE coastal flats, in second canyon W of "L" Canyon, at base of NE escarpment. Scarce; 6 plants seen in vicinity; N-facing slope. Elevation: ca. 120 feet. Associated species: Coreopsis gigantea, Isocoma menziesii, Malacothrix polycephala, Lactuca serriola integrata, Daucus pusillus, Melilotus indicus, Medicago polymorpha, Sonchus oleraceus, Dichelostemma capitatum, Avena barbata, Bromus diandrus, B. hordeaceus, B. rubens.
