Fern with curled leaves when dry,
resurrecting soon after rain.
Uncommon on a south to west-facing
slope on granite with little soil,
growing with Artemesia sp.,
Astrolepis sinuata, Bouteloua repens,
Boerhaavia purpurascens (?),
Cheilanthes wootoni, C. wrightii,
Dalea sp., Dasylirion wheeleri,
Eragrostis lehmdnniana, Eriogonum
sp., Eyesenhardtia polystachya,
Fouquieria splendens, Heteropogon
contortus, Iva xanthifolia, Janusia
gracilis, Manihot angustiloba,
Mimosa dysocarpa, Passiflora foetida
var. arizonica, Prosopis velutina,
Quercus oblongifolia, Stipa sp., and
Talinum paniculatum. To the E. side
of a small side canyon to the canyon
containing the Yellow Jacket Dam,
and around 0.15-0.2mi SW of the dam.
Around 0.4mi SE of campsite #4,
around 0.2mi NE of Nada Tank, and
around 4.2 air miles SE of refuge
