    Biannual herb, 5-10 cm high. Taproot white, tuberous, 20 x 5 mm. Leaves in a basal roset, simple, leaf margins scalloped. Terminal capitulum with yellow ray florets, 15-20 mm in diam.

scalloped, smooth. Roots white, thin, carrot-like, 20 mm long, 5 mm in diameter.

groups of up to 5 capitulums. Abundant, exotic from Europe..
