semi-deciduous forest with many lianas.
Humu> of topsoil up to 20cm deep. Avg.of
1500mm/y rain.
Small tree, 18m in height. Crooked bole with
protruding points. Many, flying buttresses.
Bark gray; rings of leaf scars ana eyemarks.
Slash orange, turning brownish-orange.
Leaves simple, often 2-3 lobed, elliptic,
acuminate, margin serrated, variable shapes
and sizes; white hairs.
