C— e T ? jf. & C<k l?Z FLORA OF COSTA RICA Dussia Heredia: La Virgen, Colonia Carvajal, San Ramon. ca. 10°23’N, 84°08’ ca. 400 m alt. Damp area 10 m from stream. Tree 25 m x 60 cm. Buttresses spreading 2 m up slope. Bark pale brown, scaling in plates, quite smooth with very numerous lenticels. Infls. green-brown. Calyx, bracts and bracteoles with ferruginous pubescence. Standard green-white with central dark pink-purple line surrounded by paler pink- purple area. Wing and keel petals pale pink on outer surfaces, green white with pale pink edge on inner surfaces.
