8°45’N, 83°35’W.	550 m alt.
Mixed forest on steep slopes. Red clay soil.
Tree 35 m x 70 cm above buttresses to 1.5 m, spreading to 1 m
from trunk. Bark pale brown, soft to touch with many lenticels,
scaling slightly, ca. 2 mm and pale brown in section; slash 1 cm
thick, red-brown streaked with pale brown, with copious red
exudate from the inner layer.
