Puntarenas: Osa Peninsula, ca. 1 km from La Palma on road to
Rincón, ca. 200 m up track on left side of road
8°38’30"N, 83°28’00"W.
Flat ground. In pasture on right side of track.
Tree 18 m x 40 cm above buttresses to 1.5 m, spreading to 50
cm from trunk. Bark grey-brown, Assuring vertically and
horizontally, but hardly flaking; slash thin, 3-4 mm, pale red-
brown. Leaves to ca. 40 cm.
