SE Monteverde town centre.
ca. 10°20’N, 84°50’W.	1500 m alt.
Isolated tree in pasture. Original vegetation lower montane wet
forest.
Small tree 15 m x 30 cm. Small buttresses to 40 cm, spreading
to 50 cm. Bark grey-brown, quite smooth, cracking vertically.
Inflorescence axes, bracts, bracteoles and flower buds brownish.
