Creek. Elev. 5000*. Soil dry, loose,
serpentine. Slope very gentle,
exposure SE. With Agropyron spicaturn
var. pubescens, Poa curtlfolia, Sllene
parryi, Aster follaceus, Achillea
millefolium, and Arenaria capillaris,
under an open canopy of Pinus contorta
and Abies lasiocarpa. Plants at early
seed set, moderately abundant.
