N 34 91 050 E 4 95 600; 3250 feet: ca. I k south of
Tumacacori National Monument; ca. 45 miles south of Tucson,
east of 1-19. Along the Santa Cruz River with Nasturtium,
Veronica anagallis-aquatica, Mimulus guttatus, SalLx
gooddingii, Populus fremontii, Tamarix chinensis, Juticus
bufonius, Polypogon monspeliensis, Baccharis.
Moist sandy-clay soil in shade of S. gooddingii, near
water’s edge; small colony, spreading by white rhizomes;
flowers white.
