United States of America. North Carolina. Haywood Co. Slopes, Old Field Top, Waynesville. About 1 1/2 mi up - say 500 ft above valley.

Habitat
Slopes, old field top. No 9-way near. only at one point - a damp rocky brook or glen on S slopes. Old fld top abt 1 2/2 mL up - say 500 ft above valley: yeere very abundant. Think I found [illegible] on very crest of cold mt once - nearly 6000 ft up. On Cumberland plateau - near Lewannee a P. is very abundant (1800 to 2000 ft) [illegible]. His [?] glen rightby side of the "Funaluska Divide" to crest of "Old Fld Top".
