West horn, relatively bare with ca. 75% of the ground being
exposed barren tuff along with many hundreds of naturally
hallowed burrows. Sida fallax shrubland, W/ Tribulus cistoides,
Waltheria indica, Jacquemontia ovalifblia subsp, sandwicensis,
several native grasses such as Panicum torridum, Panicum feuriei
var. latius, and Panicum pellitum (kai'oi'o),
decumbent herb, stems green-pink or green, leaves green-blue,
immature fruit green turning yellow-brown or brown, several large
patches near tip of horn after rains, seeds collected
